Every blog needs a first post, so here we are.
I’ve been meaning to start writing for a while. The usual blockers applied: not enough time, nothing interesting to say, the platform not feeling quite right. None of those were ever the real reason. The real reason was that publishing something permanent feels exposed in a way that a private note does not.
So this is me getting past that.
What this blog is for
I’m a software engineer, and most of what I think about involves building things on the web — architecture decisions, tools I find useful, patterns that keep surprising me, and the occasional thing I got badly wrong and learned from.
I write to think. The act of organizing ideas into sentences surfaces gaps in understanding that staying inside my head does not. This blog is that process made visible.
What to expect
Posts will be technical, but I’ll aim to make them readable without a specific stack in mind. I’d rather explain the problem clearly than assume shared context.
There’s no schedule. Posts go up when they’re ready.
If something here is useful or wrong, reach me via the about page.
