Hello World: Why I'm Writing Here

Every blog needs a first post, so here is mine.

I am starting this because I want to connect with more engineers around the world, both like-minded people and people who see things differently. Not because I want to sound like the smartest person in the room, and not because I want to turn every thought into a polished opinion. I want a place where I can write about what I am actually doing, what I am learning, what is going well, and what is currently not going well at all.

The short version: I am 23, I started coding early, and I have already moved through a few different work environments. I got my first internship when I was 15, worked with startups, spent time in a more corporate setup, and now I am in a senior role at a fast-growing startup.

That sounds cleaner than it feels.

Right now I am also learning a lot outside of writing code. I am helping grow an office for the startup I work for, which means thinking more about hiring, planning, reviewing code, and how a team actually works day to day. It is a different kind of challenge than building features, and I am still figuring out how to be useful as both an engineer and someone people can rely on.

That is probably the honest place to start.

Why I am writing

I want to grow my network and meet more engineers who care about building things well without turning software into a religion.

There is also a practical reason. I want to have a place outside of day-to-day work where people can see how I think, what I care about, what I am learning, and how I approach problems. Experience is one thing, but writing makes that experience easier to understand.

My goal is to write twice a month. That might be too ambitious, but it is the target for now.

What I will write about

Most posts will come from real work or real experiments. I expect to write about:

Some posts will be technical. Some will be personal. Some will probably be short notes about something I learned that week.

What I hope happens

I hope this blog helps me think more clearly. I hope it helps other developers read something practical and maybe take one useful idea from it.

If something I write is useful, wrong, or worth discussing, I want to hear about it. That is the point.

So this is the first one.

Hello world.
